I am in my second academic year of civil engineering studies at Teesside University (September 2022). I would like to begin an internship that would assist me in attaining my degree because I believe I would be able to contribute significantly to future projects and work in my internship because I am keen to learn quickly and have prior knowledge of Civil Engineering from my time in college and university. In addition, I have several basic principles that I uphold at work and in university, and I believe that these values are essential to this application.
Possessing a positive attitude is an illustration of one of my core principles. This will assist get the job done and inspire others to do the same, without concentrating on the inevitable obstacles that will may arise. I also possess self-confidence, which allows me to ask questions on areas where I believe I may need additional information or assurance.
I had been working part-time at Fleet Stores for around three years prior to working full-time at the Amazon Warehouse in Darlington during the national epidemic of 2020. Working in a busy retail environment and giving excellent customer service to the highest possible standards has been a fundamental aspect of my profession (at Fleet stores). I am a highly organised, customer-centric individual that makes every client feel unique.
While having extensive practical experience, I have developed the necessary skill set to exceed sales goals. As a genuine people-person, I come across as effortless and genuine while speaking with clients and am able to establish relationships with a wide variety of individuals. I am currently seeking employment with a company that provides its employees with unique opportunity to advance their careers and maximise their abilities.
I have earned a BTEC National Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment (level 3) at Middlesbrough College after completing seven GCSEs. I am a current undergraduate civil engineering student at Teesside University.
