Jael Braimah

I’m passionate about both engineering and nature, and I enjoy finding ways to combine those interests. Whether it’s solving technical challenges or exploring the outdoors, I’m always curious about how things work and how to make them better. I love hands-on projects and learning new skills that help me innovate while staying connected to the environment.

I have gained diverse experience through my roles as a Girl Guider and through work placements at Baker Hughes and Express Engineering. As a Girl Guider, I developed leadership and teamwork skills, organizing activities and guiding younger members. My work experience at Baker Hughes and Express Engineering allowed me to explore the engineering field, where I honed my technical skills, learned about industry practices, and worked on real-world projects in a professional setting.

This blend of leadership and engineering experience has helped shape my adaptable and hands-on approach to problem-solving.

I studied at St. Anthony's Catholic Academy, where I achieved a mix of 9s, 7s, and 6s in my GCSEs. I recently completed sixth form, earning a distinction in BTEC Engineering. This academic background has given me a solid foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of engineering, which I am eager to apply in a professional setting.
