I have 2 years in events marketing, whilst being in my current role I have vastly improved my skills in creating copy for both email marketing and social media marketing, understanding which graphics or content best serves us in reaching goals, and have a great ability to anticipate trends and analyse effectiveness of campaigns and change accordingly.
My professional experience thus far has been in sales and marketing. I started off in sales immediately after leaving university, where I was able to harness my competitive edge, which gives me this drive to smash KPIs. Also rather usefully, my communication skills both written and verbally improved along with time management.
I then went into marketing where all of this was put to the test further, and working in an intense industry like events it was the organisation skills that improved the most dramatically. I also managed to put my analytical skills to the test and had many an opportunity to exercise my creativity and all of this combined has made me very competent in a digital marketing role, with the space and eagerness to grow far beyond this.
I have done a degree in Marketing where we covered, consumer behaviour, digital marketing, marketing analytics and project management. I got a 2:1 in this degree and It has held me in good stead for my early work life.
