My role at iceland is to stock both frozen chilled and grocery be it ripping backstock or in on a delivery cage, I also do defrosts, working the till which includes serving alcohol, facing up the shop after close, lottery, and online picking for uber eats. I have done stock taking, reductions, and shop rearranges, meaning moving the freezers around on a few occasions aswell. I believe im fairly experienced relative to my time working so far and that im efficient at my job too.
Working at iceland i learnt how to work as a team to make sure we get every task completed by the end of the work day even if that means putting stock out while being on the till. While on the till as a part of icelands incentives i have also learnt sales skills in how to sell anything from snacks, drinks, oven trays through a variety of different methods to maximise profits I havent had any issues with customers despite having to deal with shoplifters or just in general difficult customers and I always make sure to deal with whatever situation positively and to avoid as much conflict as needed. I helped clean up the sinks and brushed up hair from the floor and disposed of it, sat down clients, made cups of tea and coffee for them, ran errands and shopped for the business, made small talk and learnt how to communicate with people professionally, kindly, and happily. I also did most cleaning jobs necessary like cleaning anything lisa used, wiping down chairs, aswell i occasionally handled money and worked the till if lisa was too busy

I spent 5 days as a teaching assistant predominantly for a class of 30 year 5 children, however i did try to help out and learn what i could by going to other classes and even down to the nursery and reception.
