A veteran Royal Navy Medic with a broad range of acumen and experiences, currently looking to apply my skills in an industry outside the armed forces. I am interested in job opportunities suitable for career changers with prospect for on-the-job learning and gaining practical skills and qualifications.
I am currently a warehouse/logistics operator. My detail-oriented and organised aptitude, as well as good team working skills have helped me in succeeding in busy logistics warehouses. I consistently perform to high standards, exceed criteria with respect to delivery of goods to end users on time. I am committed and regularly take on weekend/overtime shifts to help during busy periods.
In my previous employment I was a Navy medic and patient co-ordinator at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine, Birmingham. As part of my Navy career I gained a broad range of experiences - both in practical and academic terms - and gained an Advanced Apprenticeship in Clinical Healthcare Support.
I have a Level 2 BTEC in Applied Sciences and Advanced Apprenticeship (Level 3) in Clinical Healthcare Support. I also attended a foundation degree (not completed) at Cardiff University as part of which I passed a number of modules such as electrical circuits and analysis, IT Skills and Experimentation, Engineering Applications, and others.
