I am an outgoing, adaptable, and passionate high school English teacher, always striving to help students reach their potential and excel in English. I communicate clearly and effectively with students of all abilities. I obtained my degree in Finland to experience a different culture and to challenge myself with a different academic experience. I thrived on the challenges that came my way. I also completed a nine-month study exchange in Croatia. Moving to Japan in 2022 has developed my adaptability and self-reliance even further.
I have experience tutoring ESL students aged 7-15 at Etherton Education in the UK, whereby the process of developing student’s English; observing as their pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary improved, I found incredibly rewarding - sparking my passion to teach English. I am a confident and able teacher, always endeavouring to develop my teaching methods and techniques to better help students achieve their learning goals and give more students access to the wide opportunities that English offers.
