I am passionate about maths and economics. I enjoy finding out about companies and entrepreneurs and how their businesses operate. I would thrive in this environment whether it be in data analytics, audit, wealth management, investment or compliance.
I am an independent, enthusiastic, confident, conscientious person and I would enjoy working individually or part of a team. I am a quick learner and have a strong desire to learn new skills. I would accept any challenges presented to me and endeavour to deliver the best results possible.
I enjoy seeing a project through from beginning to end and being involved in the whole process.
I am a strong team player and can work well independently. This is evidenced in my sporting experience in tennis and football. I have learned to adapt to different situations through the varying playstyles and strategies presented by opponents.
I also have a calm, level headed personality that works well under stress and pressure.
I believe an apprenticeship is the best way forward for me as I will gain invaluable work experience in the industry that I want to pursue whilst gaining a recognised qualification at the same time.
I have a keen interest in the value of stocks and shares, as well as the crypto currency markets, especially learning the factors that affect the prices of both. I have invested in a global growth fund that only invests in companies that make a positive impact on the world. I would like to continue learning about financial markets and studying economic trends. I also enjoy learning about business and entrepreneurs and how they operate.
I worked at Thomson Reuters as part of my work experience placement. I researched investment banking companies contact details ensuring they were correct. This was completed in Excel. I also created a mock up magazine/newsletter.
July 2019: Oakwood Tennis Club
I worked at Oakwood Tennis Club as part of my work experience placement. I attended a conference where we demonstrated tennis skills such as serving and ground strokes. I also helped to coach some lessons at the club.
2018:
Freelance writing articles for online companies. This involved researching various products and producing articles describing the products and their uses. This was completed in MS Word.
