I am an Adult Nursing student in the University of Northampton with an experience of working in a nursing environment and residential care homes, also work with Northampton General Hospital. I am able to work really well in a team and at the same time can demonstrate an ability to work alone. I have demonstrable skills in carrying out patient observations such as blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, respiration and also weight checking of patients. I am able to understand and keep confidentiality and data protection, practice good verbal and written communication and also have literacy in computer skills. I have an awareness on Infection control procedures and I am applying for this position in order to improve and maintain my clinical skills and experience. I am friendly and appreciate diversity and different cultures and I believe this is something that may set me apart from others.
