Worked on reception at Gymfinity Kids where responsibilities included welcoming customers, answering questions, handling bookings and providing excellent customer service. This role helped develop confidence, communication skills and the ability to work professionally in a busy environment while dealing with both adults and children. Alongside my reception duties, I also assisted with social media marketing by creating posters and videos to promote the different facilities, gymnastics classes and events.
This helped increase engagement with customers while developing my creativity, content creation and digital marketing skills.
Front of House Assistant at Restaurant and Cafe
Worked in front-of-house roles within two different restaurants and 1 cafe, greeting customers, taking bookings in person or over the phone and ensuring customers receive a positive experience. Developed strong teamwork skills and the ability to remain calm and professional during busy periods.
Volunteer at West Midlands Police
I completed volunteering experience with West Midlands Police where I worked closely alongside police officers and community teams. During this experience, I attended presentations and workshops focused on important community issues such as knife crime, public safety and crime prevention strategies. I also had the opportunity to speak with members of the public about what helps them feel safe within their communities and discuss ways the police can continue improving relationships and public confidence.
