After working for thirty years mainly in retail management to support my family I decided to go to college to train and gain some qualifications in order to pursue a career in hospitality . I have had experience as a baker for a few years and during a lengthy recovery period from an injury sustained from playing rugby ,I spent a lot tof time cooking and baking for the family and friends , teaching myself and experimenting . Consequently my college tutors have been impressed with my general cooking knowledge and ability .
My Main goal going forward is to become a highly competent and inspired chef with developed skills and knowledge that will help me attain further life goals .
Recently was chef at a local bistro / cafe running the kitchen on a Sunday , was a baker at ASDA stores where we baked fresh loafs ,buns and rolls along with other products.
Currently studying professional cookery city and guilds at Aberdeen city campus college.
