As a commercial law Attorney, I have worked with various clients across different sectors and jurisdictions, providing legal advice and representation on a range of complex and diverse matters. I have successfully negotiated and advised on numerous commercial transactions and have a proven record of drafting high quality contracts, agreements, and policies.
I have a strong academic background, having completed both my LLB and LLM (International Economic Law) from the University of the Free State.
I am also admitted to practice as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and the High Court of Lesotho, which enables me to offer a comprehensive and cross-border perspective on legal issues and provide commercially focused solutions. In addition, I am in the process of applying for admission as a Solicitor in England and Wales, having completed the SQE.
My core competencies include drafting contracts, legal writing, legal research, and legal analysis, as well as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. I am passionate about learning new things, exploring new challenges, and delivering high-quality results.
As a commercial Attorney (equivalent of a Solicitor): Drafting commercial contracts with a focus on finance agreements, security documents, and share purchase agreements. Providing advice on regulatory compliance, data protection (including GDPR), exchange control, and anti-money laundering compliance, amongst others.
Completed an LLB with 74% pass and an LLM with 74% pass.
