I started working as soon as I left school at 16, I went straight into a job at KFC and found what I loved which was being a manager. I have always had a passion for Leadership and making improvements where I can. motivation is something that comes naturally for me, I manage to push a team of 65 drivers to get great results week after week.
I worked at KFC for 3 and a half years, starting as a crew member and quickly worked my way up the ladder to shift manager. For me this wasn’t enough and I could not find a progression path from here, so I decided to find a new job where there are amazing positions I could work my way up to eventually. This is where I am now, I currently work at an LFC which is own by Sainsburys/Argos, the operation is 24/7 I’m mainly a transport manager, however I do some stockroom managerial duties such as cycle counts, deliveries, any adjustments, investigations.
I feel like after 4 years I have finally found what I love to do as a career and it’s being a manger especially in a warehouse, I have met over 300 people working here and I have taken the time to get to know each individual I feel this makes me different to other managers. I will take the time to get to know colleagues as you will learn how far you can push them this helps them progress but it also makes the business progress.
I passed all GCSE’s at school.
From school I went onto to college to do hairdressing which I love to do in my spare time, but this is not something I’m 100% passionate about.
