I am a caring, empathetic and thoughtful person, and am able to adjust to different situations well. I previously worked as a care assistant at Finavon Court in Forfar, although I enjoyed my job I would like to do something I am more passionate about. I am very involved in home-schooling of my two younger sisters, and I feel this has helped me develop more confidence and patience.

My main responsibilities were to assist residents in all aspects of their care needs and to make sure they are as comfortable as possible while maintaining their dignity and independence. My other duties included serving meals, accurately documenting the care given, making sure rooms are clean and tidy and beds are made, putting laundry away, and answering phone calls.

I was responsible for welcoming customers, waitressing, kitchen duties, organising events and handling of cash. The busy children's soft play centre often hosted multiple children's parties on the same day and I successfully managed these.
