I became a carer by taking care of my grandmother for more than 2 years back in Africa since then I decided to do this job because it gave me joy and satisfaction. I am a highly self-motivated team player, a determined person, who regularly looks for new challenges and I have a passion for positive change and an ability to make difficult decisions under pressure.

Assisting clients to use a prompt book for communication, exercising, pressure area care, and bowel care. Assisting clients with personal care and hygiene; washing, dressing, undressing, showering, bathing, oral hygiene, toileting, and getting in and out of bed to a wheelchair or comfortable chair with a ceiling hoist. Assisting with mobility using the appropriate equipment provided and preparing meals and drinks when necessary
