I am fairly new to care after being temporarily very ill and receiving care myself and realising what a wonderful gift it can be. I have been in care for 13 months but fairly intensive clinical care, which is still my full time career with a gentleman who has C2 spinal injuries. I can't do more shifts with him as they are 12 hrs and can be difficult to fit around my family but would love to help somebody else a few hours a week as I love being a carer.

I also have experience of vascular dementia from caring for my father in law for 6 months and also assisted with a lady with cerebral palsy when I was in college for the summer.
