These pubs were a great opportunity for me to improve my independence at work. I would open/close them on my own and be left in charge to serve, take deliveries, order stock, do the banking, and train new staff.

My main responsibilities at the Hollies were pouring and mixing drinks, stocking the bar and seating guests. I also cleaned tables and glasses, changed barrels and served food. This also helped to improve my customer service skills.

My jobs included meal prep, cleaning, making deserts and assisting head chef. I'm trained to use specific kitchen equipment safely. This kitchen fast paced and in high demand, so I was working quickly and accurately.

Sous Chef at Home In Frome (2022-09 – 2022-12)

I was in charge of lots of things including cooking breakfasts, food preparation, making food from scratch, stocking the kitchen, maintaining hygiene levels to UK Government standards, washing up and baking deserts. This was all vital in my professional journey of learning time management, organisation skills, and communication among a team.
