I am presently working in reception class. I liaise with the class teacher and other teachers within the school environment. I also support pupils who have SEND and EAL needs. Within the class I also do observations on individual pupils and help the class teacher in planning activities accordingly to the pupils development.

I also do intervention to help pupils to get their target depending on their needs. I also support the class teacher during parents evening by helping to translate. I take the class in the absence of the class teacher.

Also I give feedback to the parents at the end of the day. I also showcase pupils' works on displays within the school environment.

I worked with the preschool children. My work consists of observing children, preparing learning journeys, planning activities, setting up the outdoor and indoor area., Filling childrens work and photos for their profile. Also settling new children and filling in forms with the parents.

My role also includes assigning work to the staff within my room and carrying out risk assessments when going on outing trips, filling accident and incident forms. I also showed parents around the nursery and explained the layout of the setting, and had parent conferences and meetings. Training new recruits by being a mentor.
