Charlie Kealy

I am a creative, passionate and extroverted individual, looking for full-time employment while studying for a master’s degree in Writing at Liverpool John Moores University. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and have been written for several publications while studying. After exploring other venues of employment, I would like to pursue a career in which I can greater show my creative skills. I would be eager to start work as soon as possible.

I will be the first to admit I have not had any technical experience, but I have been working in other, non-creative fields. I have worked in telephony, retail, sanitation, hospitality and customer service. These fields, while seemingly not related, have given me many skills.

I have an eye for detail, I can work under high-pressure, fast-paced environments. My work in call centres has given me a lot of flexibility and ability to learn new rules and regulations at great speed, as well as some IT skills. While in retail and hospitality, I also have worked closely with the general public and am in touch with consumer wants and needs.

These skills I can combine with my writing skills to perform any task put in front of me.

I have a 2:1 in BA with Honors Creative Writing at Liverpool John Moores, and can ask for references from my tutors.

I have a D at A-level in English Literature.

I also have passing grades in 10 GCSEs, with a C and above grade in English Literature and Language, Mathematics, and Core and Further Science.
