I am a 27 year old Trainee Electrician from Ashford with two children. I've had various experiences both within the construction industry and other industries. I completed my Level 2 (2365) Electrical installations course and was working as a freelance Trainee Electrician for 1 year and a half.
I was then offered a position with a Main Contractor as a Trainee Project Manager, which I did for 1 year and 9 months travelling to different sites all over the UK. This gave me invaluable site experience to now return to the tools and continue my journey as an Electrician.
Having spent the last three years working in the construction industry, I feel I have a strong general trade knowledge, as well as strong electrical knowledge. Having worked as a Trainee Electrician for a year and a half, and having completed my Level 2 (2365), I've been exposed to a wide range of electrical tasks which are detailed within my CV. My time spent working for a Main Contractor gave me a real insight into how projects are sequenced, particularly around Electrical & Mechanical contractors.
