I am an Agile Delivery Lead with 14 years of unbroken delivery and business analysis experience, all of it inside product and engineering organisations of real scale. I started out as a business analyst pulling apart insurance and online gaming systems, and most recently I ran global delivery at a crypto platform serving over 10 million customers in more than 40 countries. The thread has always been the same.

Get the right people talking, clear whatever is in their way, and keep everyone moving toward a date that matters. I am most useful where the stakes and the ambiguity are both high, on regulatory programmes, country launches and multi-squad re-architectures. I lead with steadiness rather than noise, I care about the people doing the work, and I will happily take on the unglamorous coordination that keeps a delivery honest.

Agile Delivery Lead at Luno (2023-06 – 2026-07)

Global cryptocurrency platform. 10M+ customers across 40+ countries, 800+ staff over six international offices, owned by Digital Currency Group. US$52bn+ in lifetime crypto transactions.

• Took over a marketing website launch that had run 15 months without a clear path to go-live, spanning 6 squads plus Legal, Compliance and Security. Brought in structured check-ins and a tighter delivery cadence, and got it live in 4 months.
• Ran delivery across 2 squads at once with interdependent workstreams, holding regular dependency-alignment sessions, keeping a live RAID log so neither team sat blocked, and reporting delivery health, risks and escalations to senior stakeholders with straight RAG status updates.
• Led delivery for the business entry into the Nigerian market, pulling Product, Engineering, Legal and Compliance together so the regional launch landed cleanly and in line with regulators.
• Built the standardised project kick-off and delivery-planning templates now used across the whole Agile Delivery Lead team, which made starts more consistent and cut ramp-up time on new work.
• Mentored Scrum Masters and helped build Luno's delivery community of practice, including drawing up engineering team restructures and the plans to roll them out.
• Used AI in the work every day, with Claude, Gemini and Slack AI pulling documents together, drafting risk artefacts and speeding up stakeholder comms. It is part of how I deliver rather than a side experiment.

Scrum Master (promoted from Business Analyst) at Porcupine Union (2020-11 – 2023-06)

Technology consultancy. Delivery teams embedded with King Price Insurance, where I held the two squads carrying the largest share of the client's work.

• Ran the full set of Scrum ceremonies, covering Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives, for two teams handling the largest share of work for King Price Insurance.
• Owned and prioritised the Customer Services product backlog across six business owners, auditing progress against sprint goals so nothing slipped through the cracks.
• Cleared impediments early and escalated blockers before they cost a sprint, which kept the client priority projects landing on schedule.
• Reviewed acceptance criteria and test cases before development started, which tightened the Definition of Ready and cut down on rework later.
• Coached the teams on Agile principles and Scrum practice, and watched self-organisation, estimation accuracy and delivery discipline improve across both.

Lead Business Analyst / Product Owner & Scrum Master at King Price Insurance (2017-04 – 2020-11)

South African short-term insurer, founded 2012, reinsured by Munich Re. Best known for its decreasing-premium car insurance model, and expanding into life insurance during my tenure.

• Acted as Lead Business Analyst on two large programmes, holding every contributing team accountable to one shared go-live date.
• Gathered and documented requirements with product owners and external partners, turning them into user stories, process flows, wireframes and functional specifications for one of the first cyber-insurance products in South Africa.
• Delivered the launch of a new pet insurance product, working out the API integration requirements with an established third-party insurer and specifying the customer journey end to end.
• Designed and put in place solutions that cut unnecessary claim pay-outs, saving the business multiple millions of Rand.
• Wore the Scrum Master and Project Manager hats alongside the BA work, covering roadmap definition, activity planning, effort estimation, clearing impediments, and running backlog-prioritisation sessions with business managers.

Business Analyst at Powertech System Integrators (2016-12 – 2017-04)

Systems integrator. Worked on the device roll-out for Netstar, one of South Africa's largest vehicle-tracking and fleet-management providers.

• Supported the Netstar vehicle-tracking device roll-out, checking functional requirements and confirming the application behaved to specification before launch.
• Ran User Acceptance Testing and quality checks on the new device solution, logging defects and following them through to a fix.
• Looked into whether the existing Workforce Management platform could be repurposed as a meeting scheduler and room-assignment tool for large conference events.

Business Analyst, then Quality Assurer & Team Lead at Derivco (2012-02 – 2016-12)

The software development house behind Microgaming, one of the original and largest online gaming platform providers, holder of Guinness World Record jackpot payouts and a portfolio of 600+ casino games.

• Ran GAP analysis on whether online gambling could launch in new international markets, weighing regulatory requirements against what the system could actually do.
• Rewrote and redesigned the entire Casino lobby prototype, then presented the solution to stakeholders across South Africa and Europe.
• Led delivery for the Mobile start-up team, bringing existing online games across to mobile, free games and multiplayer tournaments included, and helping shape the mobile UI and UX journey.
• As Test Lead, owned the legacy migration of over 600 Casino games and managed a team of five across resource planning, test execution and black-box testing of the download client.
