I have been involved in the arts and events creation and performance for over a decade. Ranging from spoken word, story telling, music and most recently theatre. This has crossed onto radio work, festival stage management, artist liaison, tours and pop up events. In the last year I have worked or performed at Ty Pawb in Wrexham, Focus Wales, Sceal Collective in Dublin and Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh.
I have also been fortunate enough to work on two Arts Council Wales funded projects with Dirty Protest titled Pa Gur, a historic allegorical tale of King Arthur reimagined as a chef. This was followed by How To Grow an exploration into what we inherit from our families in historical behaviors, told through food memories and original music. These were also in partnership with Ty Pawb and Llangollen Food Share.
I have been active in event production and management for over 10 years. I have recent experience working with reputable companies like BBC 6 Music, Dirty Protest, Fresh on the Net and Focus Wales.
I have a Masters in Creative and Critical Writing which helped serve to platform my skills sets in the field. More recently I have been mentored by Wale's foremost new writing company director Catherine Paskell in crafting short performance pieces. Catherine's company Dirty Protest helped platform my writing and I have pushed on in attaining a deeper understanding of the arts and my own professional practices.
