Bartender/Events/Music and Film

I love to work in an environment where I have something new each day.
Whether that be a challenge, a change of environment or a new set of people to work with. Which is why I've worked in public and social-leaning jobs all my life.
My first job was getting shot up by paintballs as a Paintball Marshall, fun but not for me. Then I went into Bartending, which I loved and still love to this day just for the fact I get to speak to new people regularly. It's also something that has become more of a second nature skill to me now.
My real passion lies in music and film work though.
I've worked on a few film sets as both a runner, production assistant and a personal assistant to a director. Alongside that, I’ve done music video production myself as a director and assistant camera operator. My core focus has been in music as of the last 2 1/2 years however where I have DJ'd in festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Secret Garden Party, Mucky Weekender and the list goes on... not to mention the gigs I have played in clubs like Studio 338, Notting Hill Arts Club, Volks and Printworks.
I've even recently just come back from some abroad gigs in Sri Lanka and Japan as well as started teaching younger kids how to DJ and the basics of production so they can have their try at the journey.
The point I'm trying to get across is - I love being thrown in the deep end and trying new things. I'm always willing to learn more skills, meet new people and hopefully have a good laugh with my peers along the way! This is only half of the work I’ve done in the past; however I hope it paints the right picture. If this sounds right for you and your company, then please drop me a call or an email and I will get back to you as soon as I can!
Never Had a Chance (Film)
Worked for 2 months in Hounslow as a runner/driver and sometimes as a Production Assistant, making sure the actors arrived to set on time, getting necessary equipment off site at camera stores and providing whatever the set needed to run smoothly
Oasis stage build and management
We built a stage as a music collective (Truth Tribe) for Secret Garden Party Festival, with the theme of escapism and creativity. There was a ball pit, beach shack bar, sunken boats in the hill and bowl in the middle to dance away in. I helped manage the bar for the four days of the festival as well
I recently took part in a 192 mile walk from Dover to Glastonbury where we setup stops along the way to run events and DJ. All in aid of Greenpeace, Water Aid, The Music Venues Trust, The Wildlife Trust and Oxfam where we raised a total of £15,000 over the course of 24 days. I helped with the logistics of the walk and performed as well.
I’ve worked closely with Theo Adler, an indie artist based in London on multiple of his music videos as both assistant director, cameraman and location scout to closely envision what he wanted
This is just my most recent, noteworthy work in between the DJ’ing across the country and abroad, along with other part-time work in events and film – if you require more examples, I would be happy to provide them!
I have passed all my A-levels with B and above, I have also studied a year of Music Business and plan to study a 2 year course in Film Audio Engineering
