Over 15 years experience in window and doors fabrication and automation, including sealed units. Primarily PVC but also composite doors and aluminium products. I have worked as a lab tester ensuring British Standards and Kitemarks are adhered to and calibration is up to date, CNC programmer, technical support for manufacturing, systems technician and most recently a design engineer.
Systems I have used include Xilog Plus, Caliburn, Pricepoint, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, AutoCAD and Inventor. In addition to this, many in-house systems.
For my current role my main duties include updating manufacturing drawings and schematics, integrating new products into manufacturing, review current processes for improvement, and design jigs for the factory. In this I have to show a lot of initiative and time management, due to working on the projects alone and in small groups.
I am also heavily involved in making sure the company complies with all applicable building regulations.
