Rolling Stock/Project Engineer – Transport for London, London

Working as part of the teams responsible for the planning and delivery of the scheduled Overhaul’s for the Central Line and Jubilee Line. Ensuring engineering documentation meets Health and Safety, delivery and procurement requirements.

Duties include

• Troubleshooting any problems that arise.
• Liaising with OEM’s, Suppliers, Project management, Depot, Contractors and co-operating to meet their requirements. (Including organised action plan meetings)
• Supervising OEM’s at depot.
• Carrying out condition assessments of components on/off train.
• Compiling engineering documentation, including design specifications, engineering reports, scope of works and modifications to design.
• Compiling and checking of parts lists to ensure projects are sourced in time and completed on budget
• Managing time and delivery deadlines.
• Organising and leading meetings internally and with external contractors.
