I carried out essential tasks such as kitchen porter, and helping prep in the kitchen for service and working front of house when busy allowing business to continue smoothly I have learned money handling, customer service skills and the ability to work well In busy and hectic situations and am able to remain calm and keep service going
Working in a lab for the university of Aberdeen doing primary neuroscience research has taught me to take responsibility for my own work and independence, working long hours in the lab operating unique and expensive machinery has made me careful and has given me hazard perception and prevention skills to keep me and colleagues safe and well as the ability to quickly learn to operate different systems and software
