The true art of writing

As a former art teacher turned writer, content and copy creator, I bring a unique blend of communication skills and audience engagement (Imagine a class of thirty pubescent kids and you get the idea!) to the world of writing.

Managing an energetic classroom, has honed my ability to break down or build up diverse and complex ideas into clear digestible content for audiences with different learning styles. 

Additionally, I present information creatively, (a must in the classroom, which has taught me how to engage others from the word go!)

I love research, and always fact check my work several times. 

All these skills and more I've leveraged to write engaging blog posts, craft compelling social media content, that not only informs but also captivates and targets intended audience using best SEO practices. Thus, it's fair to say, I spend my time also researching keywords, high value terms and phrases, whilst also using other strategies to also prioritise readability.

So, it might appear that I have less experience than some others out there. But, I will make your journey incredibly fun, whilst getting to the nitty gritty, and with no time wasting. Remember, teachers have always had to work to the clock, to the minute, to the second even. It's indeed second nature to me to work this way!

As an indie writer, I have written, edited and self-published a novel, won awards and had my short stories published. I write my content and copy to market my brand - Worsleyrites.com.

Maes Ebbw SEN school. I have worked there for over fifteen years. I am presently pursuing a career change.

Since completing my PGCE in 1997, I have completed several writing courses at Cardiff metropolitan and Cardiff univerisites. As well as, completed three Udemy online courses for copy and content writing.
