HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist with a range of experience working with children, young people and adults, both individually and in groups. Art Therapy placements with NHS Adult Mental Health Services (acute inpatient and community); SEMH schools (primary and secondary). Additional experience in mainstream schools with early years and primary-age children (therapeutic play, arts projects, childcare); and with adults (higher education, hospice, adult mental health).
Fifteen years portfolio career combining arts practice (national and international exhibitions and residencies) with part-time employment in education (teaching, programming, facilitation and coordination). Excellent communicator, calm, empathic, reflective and reflexive thinker; observant, active listener; highly organised. Flexible, adaptive, person-centred approach to the art therapy frame.
