I am a reliable character with a great attitude towards work, completing any work that I am set to do to a high standard and being punctual is key to me as I believe those are some of the most important characteristics into having a positive and successful day at work, along with enjoying yourself whilst at work as well and creating a friendly stress free environment. Following health and safety procedures is also vital to me in order to create a safe working space for myself and others along side me, I am dedicated to learning and developing new skills and I am not afraid to take on new challenges that are put in front of me. I am physically fit as exercise is an important part of my life style which I participate in daily, I am able to with stand heavy duty task at work which may include heavy lifting & endurance tasks and I am able to with stand work which requires me to be on my feet and active for several hours.

Delivering Food, beverages & equipment

• Early starts beginning anywhere from 430am – 530am and completing shifts between 9-12 hours long
• Main areas of driving experience; Islington, Holloway, Kings cross, Shoreditch, Hackney, Camden & Euston
• Completing daily pre/post vehicle checks to ensure our lorries are road worthy and safe to use
• Putting our vehicles onto loading bays each morning in order to be loaded for the day and ensuring that our load is secured properly & same for end of shit to de- kit our lorry
• Driving 18T – 26T lorries around the London area safely, efficiently and complying with all road legislations
• Correctly putting the correct information on our TACHO cards each morning before leaving depot and also in putting the correct information throughout the day to correspond with your working/driving and break times

• Offering a high level of customer service throughout the day to all customers is priority to ensure they have the best experience when receiving goods from us
• Completing between 10-18 drops per day dependent on your area and work load
• Making use of different tail lift systems and understanding the settings for different fridge and freezer systems

Supervisor (promoted from Operative) at West Cross Environmental Services (2021-06 – 2024-09)

Asbestos Removal Specialist. During my time here at West Cross I have really learnt the importance of health and safety at work especially in construction environments, containment of Asbestos and in the use of vehicles/Machinery at work. Health and safety is at the top of our priorities as it is our duty to minimise the disturbance on Asbestos in order to protect ourselves and the general public, there is a lot we must follow in order to comply with the HSE regulations to be allowed to under take this line of work.

I started off as an Operative at the company and was quickly promoted to taking a supervisor role just after 2 years of working here, I believe this is due to my dedicated work ethic, ability to listen, learn and act quickly as this is quite a fast paced industry. However becoming supervisor gave me the extra knowledge of how to manage a team, assign people to allocated tasks and take on the extra responsibility of running and overseeing my own jobs and playing a bigger role with communicating with our clients and completing paperwork, It has also taught me how to keep calm under pressure and tackle any problems placed in front of me professionally and effectively.

• Loading our vehicles each morning with the correct equipment for the job at hand was a major role in this job, this taught me how to load vehicles safely and efficiently as we have a wide range of equipment, tools and products that we have safely transport each day
• I have experience in driving vans with trailer units attached in and out of London areas, which would be welfare and shower units an essential need for the work we do
• I have built strong teamwork skills throughout my time here as it is key to have clear communication with each other whilst working on site as it's important everyone is clear on the task that we are dealing with, the job role is also extremely physically challenging most of the time so it's important to work as team when necessary to complete tasks as safely and effectively as possible and reduce risk of injury

Customer delivery driver at Ocado (2019-08 – 2021-05)

Here at Ocado I was a van delivery driver and covered areas in central London up to Reading area

• My role here included completing daily vehicle checks to ensure my van for the day was safe to drive and to identify and report any damage that has been caused to that vehicle
• I would have to check my paper work each morning to check the load of my van and to make sure it was all correct and safely stacked ready for my journey
• We would use a satnav system designed for our routes to complete our run in the correct order, therefore it was important to be able to understand the use of satnavs and accepting new jobs in order to complete and plan our runs accordingly
• It was vital to be punctual as our runs needed to be completed at set times in order to keep our customers happy and keep standards high and to avoid people not receiving their items that they have paid for
• Being the face of the company it was really important to have a good first impression on our customers and leaving them with a positive experience

Warehouse operative at Brausch and CO / Wincanton (2015 – 2017)

During this period at separate times, I worked at Brausch and CO and Wincanton. Both are warehouses, however Brausch and Co specialised in high quality bathroom accessories such as baths, sinks, showers and toilets. Wincanton is an extremely busy company that distributes alcohol in bulk loads around the country.
