Cory Reid

I am an experienced Contracts and Procurement Manager with expertise in the development and execution of contracting strategies and improvement of supply chain processes, predominantly in the Oil & Gas industry. I am currently a Contract Manager on a European Interconnector and undertaking procurement manager role for a battery power project where she focuses on building strong relationships, negotiating fair agreements and building collaboration. Prior to this, Cory supported sustainability and local supply chain initiatives for a UK offshore wind portfolio.

I am a highly experienced contracts and procurement manager, with experience in both contract strategies and their subsequent implementation, and also the provision of services to ensure the application of effective supply chain processes and procedures.

I have a proven track record of either being able to lead a contracts and procurement team, or act as a strong team player, and I enjoy providing a service to internal functions and also the management of external services. Both these roles require strong interpersonal and influencing skills, and also the ability to interact with, and relate to, a broad spectrum of people both in the supplier organisation and the end-users.

Over the last few years I have recognised that the successful application of contracting and supply chain management services relies as much on the development of strong relationships as the implementation of robust systems and processes.

I undertook a BA (Hons) in Management from 2005 -2009. I have a lot of experience and always eager to undertake courses to broaden my knowledge.
