A recent graduate with a masters degree in Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering from University College London (UCL) and a BSc in Biomedical Science. I am looking for a career in Medical Writing to pursue my passion for scientific writing and develop new skills in an array of fields.
During my education, I have produced two dissertations of a high quality standard that achieved grades above 75%. It was during these periods of writing that I realised my interest in scientific literature. I am looking for a job that can complement this interest. Although I do not yet have professional experience in this field, my 7 years of various job roles ranging from customer service to Covid-19 testing has cemented what I would like from a workplace, and I believe this aligns with the role of a medical writer.
MSc Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering - University College London
The work from my masters degree was published in a medical journal, and so I had the opportunity to be involved in the writing and editing process of the article. This was a great insight into the role of a medical writer, whilst further improving my proofreading and attention to detail that I had developed during the writing of my thesis and throughout my courses.
