Independent Research Project - Using CFD to Optimise the Front Wing of an F1 Car
My technical report involved optimising the front wing of an F1 car, using XFLR5 software, by adjusting its parameters to maximise downforce and minimise drag, improving overall performance. The project deepened my understanding of aerodynamic principles, CFD simulation techniques, and data analysis while demonstrating my skills in real-world problem-solving, independent research, and analytical thinking.
