Damian Opuk

I have a passion for identifying and fixing issues with hardware and software related to computers. I have experience in building computers using modern hardware and have built multiple computers for my self, my family, and friends. I have studied and used computers since I was eleven years old, whether it's playing videogames or attempting basic software development using code. I have a great passion for the present and the future of computers and I want to be apart of the picture.

I have never directly worked with companies that only working with software or hardware directly related to computers. However, I have been working in retail and restaurants since I started working and I believe that even this experience can be directly handed over to IT. I have been using cash registers for multiple years now which requires me to input data accurately at a fast pace in order to meet demands and expectations from companies and this has not only improved my ability to read and understand data but has also improved my ability to work at a fast pace and have the skills to multitask.

Since 2022, I have been studying at Coleg Sir Gar with the IT & Computing department. I have recently acquired my IT & Computing Level 3 diploma. Throughout my studies, I have learned a large handful of valuable skills.

I have worked with system security and encryption, digital audio, planning and management of computer projects, virtualization, relational database development, computer networking, website development, digital graphics & animation, business application of social media, principles of computer science, and a handful of other classes.
