First Class graduate of BA East Asian Studies at The University of Sheffield with a year abroad at the National University of Singapore. Searching for challenging and dynamic work opportunities in the tourism industry. Having gained three years of work experience as Marketing Co-ordinator and Global Exchange Assistant during my time at University, I went on to secure a work opportunity in Erasmus + and European Mobility Project Co-ordination in Malta immediately after graduating.
All things travel- itinerary management, cultural and regional research, content creation and the relationship between marketing and tourism- the focus of my undergraduate dissertation. Digital media and content analysis has been a significant academic interest and a subject I have frequently married with my professional pursuits. I enjoy working with media analysis, communications and promotional campaigns and have an interest in successful marketing strategies for Gen Z audiences.
I am looking for work in marketing and/or tourism management. I am open to positions such as PR, social media management, and events management. My dream job involves promotion of national tourism organisations such as Visit Britain or campaign management for travel guide media companies such as Lonely Planet. I am also especially curious about the travel agent and cruise industries and hope to one day gain experience in cruise ship excursion planning and management.
Curiosity, organisation, creative problem solving and respect are qualities I champion in my professional and private life. I value company cultures which prioritise communication, dignity, opportunity for progression and competence.
Reliable and consistently exceeds expectations through applying creativity in problem-solving, organisation and prioritising efficient systems in pursuit of optimal results. Enthusiastic, adaptable and sincerely passionate. Stands out for consistency, approaching problems and tasks with strategy, attention to future outcomes and recognising patterns early on.
