David Allan

I've done many different jobs from warehousing to office work and studied mechanical engineering, welding and fabrication, joinery and physics. Currently studying electrical engineering at Motherwell College. I pride myself on being able to adapt and suit any job that comes my way and always work hard at whatever I put my mind to.

I've worked in a variety of jobs for agencies including production operative, mailroom assistant, warehouse assistant and am currently volunteering at the British Heart Foundation utilizing problem solving, manual handling, pricing of stock, organizing deliveries, assembling and disassembling furniture, function testing electrical equipment and general housekeeping and cleaning.

I had a great interest in physics and have dedicated myself to learning practical skills and understanding how things work. Mostly I've been in further education and have learnt mechanical engineering at Glasgow College, joinery, welding and fabrication at New College Lanarkshire and I'm currently doing an HNC in electrical engineering at NCL.
