I work as a Trading Assistant at Sainsbury's on Night Shifts. I can have many roles whilst being in work from filling the freezer section and produce area to stocking shelves on different Isle. When there's a delivery we help out by taking full rolling cages to the right area such as produce chiller, meat and poultry chiller.
Once done filling shelves or the freezer section it's time to clear the store before the customers are allowed in to do the daily shop, i had to go around on the sections/Isle and face up the items to make the products easier for the customers to read and it also makes the difference when it's looks nice and tidy for the customers eyes.

Warehouse Operative - Optimas Solutions - Stockport
(2019-03 - 2023-05)
As a warehouse Operative I started of as a packer weighing out the correct amount that was on the ticket it came with what got dropped by the pickers, once weighed out with the correct amount it got put into a plastic container and put on a pallet 4 high and 6 across. Once a full pallet was completed we had to put a plastic cover over the top so if and when it was bad weather no rain could get into the containers and ruin the product that was being sent. After being a packer I was given the opportunity to get my flt licences so then I could become a picker as well as other job roles.
Once I learnt how to pick of the picking sheet I was able to complete orders in a timely manner. After a while I got given more responsibility and was able to go into night shifts and load the company's wagon with the completed pallets the got done from the days work. I had to lift pallets with the fork truck and place them onto a wrapping machine, once secured and labelled up correctly I then loaded the pallets into the correct place on the wagon for the driver to make it easier for deliveries.
