Apprentice - Harland and Wolff

(1990-09 - 2001-12)

I have an apprenticeship at Harland and Wolff. This is where I learned how to do fabrication skills, burning skills, tec welding, measuring, cutting, rolling and safe slinging skills. When I was doing my apprenticeship I achieved the fabrication of ships.

Fabrication Technician - Caterpillar

(2003-06 - 2021-08)

This is where I built up my fabrication skills but also learnt new skills such as pressure testing, M.P.I testing, welding and much more. I worked as part of a new team and new business in caterpillar which was problem solving before it went into production. I also have a level two qualification in M.P.I testing. I also learned safety expectations.

• The use of hand held tools, air tools, guillotine, rollers, manual handling, cosh and master movers.

Fabrication Technician - CDE

(2021-08 - 2024-02)

This is where I used the use of overhead cranes, multiple hand tools and power tools to mark our and fabricate large sections. I also did the work out and mark out of new products before it goes into production.
