David Omole

I am employed as a teaching assistant in a primary school currently. Working with year 5 students, I've also had several opportunity to work with year 6 students and younger children. I've previously worked at a youth club, so I have experience there. I have good communication skills and am driven. I've been in circumstances when I've had to use my problem-solving abilities and resilience.I play the drum kit, so I have a strong affinity for both music and athletics.

Regarding experience, I worked at a youth club where I was tasked for leading my own group on the many excursions we took. Additionally, I've had to have crucial discussions about health and safety with youngsters. Right now, I work in a year 5 class (primary school). which has allowed me to expand my knowledge in the areas of behaviour control, safety, optimism, adaptability, and patience.

I received a Distinction in Btec Sports from Pretergast Sixth Form. This has aided me in working with children because, by observing them throughout PE classes, I was able to determine a child's personality and determine where to provide physical assistance or mental support to help them develop self-esteem.
