David Queens

Hard working, motivated, people person. I enjoy learning new skills and have vast experience within my past profession.

I enjoy taking on additional tasks to gain more knowledge and always look to develop myself and others in a team and individual environmen.

I have acted as incident commander at a variety of incidents. Also instruct in several areas where I assess and conduct basic courses for new recruits. I compile, complete reports. I was H&S representative for the station in a number two capacity, conducting audits with corrective actions highlighted, created training plans and worked with external services to test contingency plans.

I also worked, tested all types of equipment whilst maintaining standards to H&S legislation and ensured we were compliant and ready for any audit.

All education since leaving school has been fire service related. I also gained my lead auditor iso 18001 qualification and IOSH in H&S to conduct my role.
