Belonging to a developing country, I have always felt the importance and absence of the fundamental principles of Human Rights. The idea that all human beings are equal is one of my core beliefs and therefore I chose to base my career around it. I studied LLB from the University of London and chose International Protection of Human Rights as one of my modules. After completing my LLB, I chose to pursue a Master of Laws in International Human Rights from the University of Law in Manchester. I have gained a distinction in my the subject of International Human Rights and am currently writing my dissertation on the treatment of asylum seekers and refugees in the United Kingdom.
Rights are one of my biggest passions, and I strive to contribute to the cause which grants basic human dignity to all human beings in the world.
I have worked for 3 years in Pakistan as a qualified lawyer, where I have participated in criminal and civil matters. I am currently working with a solicitor in the UK where I deal with immigration, asylum and refugee matters.
I am pursuing a Master of Laws in International Human Rights from the University of Law in Manchester. I am pleased to inform that I have gained a Distinction in the subject of International Human Rights and a Commendation in International Criminal Law. My final dissertation focusses on the treatment of asylum seekers and refugee's in the United Kingdom.
