- Efficient management of maintenance/repair processes and road safety compliance in accordance and within the terms of Operator Licensing Regulations for the entire fleet of 350 council vehicles including cars, LCV's, buses and HGV's
- Meticulous and effective management of budget control, both capital and revenue. Provide monthly capital monitoring reports to the Finance Director reflecting accurate spend and projected annual outturn is aligned and within the current year General Capital fund.
- Manage the vehicle replacement/procurement process including best disposal methods of 'off fleeted' vehicles yielding best residual values.
- Acting Lead Officer in the council's 'Fleet Transformation Strategy' aimed at meeting government targets for net zero carbon emission's
- Lead on the 'Fleet Cost Savings Strategy' – Review and identify operational inefficiencies and provide alternative improved solutions that also consider future transitioning of fleet from ICE vehicles to carbon neutral alternatives. Analyze and asses current systems both ICT based and manual and introduce paperless digital alternatives where appropriate.
- Oversee and ensure effective management of Safe Systems At Work and Health Safety policies and are implemented and adhered to.

With civil war escalating alongside a growing Humanitarian crisis across South Sudan the demand from humanitarian agencies and security services for reliable vehicle supply and associated fleet management and repair services was extremely high. I successfully raised $2.1m from private equity partners while retaining majority ownership.
- Provided the strategic vision, planning and execution of company rollout
- Established an 8000sqm secure operational site and developed teams, systems and supply chains within an extremely hostile and challenging environment
- Amassed a large customer base in accelerated time scales, Contracted by - US State Department. British, French, Norwegian and Swiss Embassies, United Nations and multiple NGO agencies and security services

- Provide budgetary reports to company directors, thus satisfying demanding targets set for the continued profitability of the company.
- Develop modern operational policies and procedures and assist with the introduction, implementation and training of an Integrated Management System (Evolution DMS).

- This ran in conjunction with our busy modern Service Repair Centre.
