I am currently a TA level 2 student in Wolverhampton college till end of June 2024.

In 2015 I start working as a children’s support worker ,as a learning support staff and in the last 2 years as a TA in primary schools.

I am experienced with children and young people with additional needs , mental health , challenging behaviour, autism , ADHD and Down syndrome.

I have experienced working in small groups and 1:1 support in the class.

I’m passionate and I love my work as a Teaching assistant

I am able to support the teaching and learning activities in the classroom and also to provide general support to the class teacher in the organisation and management of pupils in the classroom.

I am able to support the teacher with a supportive environment, in accordance with lesson plans and assist with the display of pupils’ work following health & safety policy like I recently did in my placement creating a sound and vibration display for year 4.

I can record and monitor pupils’ responses to learning activities , achievement and progress as directed from the teacher or Senco target plan each week for sen children.

I promote and encourage good pupil behaviour and deal with conflict and incidents in the class and playground.

I believe I have excellent communication skills. I am great with teamwork as an independent . I am good at time management and organisation . I have a person centred approach , active listening , patience and I am an honest and reliable hard worker eager for learning .

I love my job as a Teaching assistant and I hope to give me the chance to show you what I can do and gain more experience working along with experienced staff.
