I have been qualified and working confidently for the last 15 years as a registered nurse specialising in mental health.
I’ve developed my skills predominantly in eating disorders but had a 4 year period supporting children and adolescents in the Child Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), which was an inpatient setting of 1( beds for adolescents aged 12-18 and and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) with the provision for 3 adolescents requiring a more intense and robust careplan.
Ive also regular undertaken bankshifts for the trust Forensic service.
I’ve completed ongoing CPD and training in EMDR, CBT-E levels 1 and 2, phlebotomy and enteral feeding.
My work as covered inpatients and outpatient's where I’m currently based. Holding up to 15 patients on my caseload.
In my current role there is also the expectation and opportunity to deputise in the absence of the manager giving me vital experience within a management structure.
