Professor Musademba is an academic with over 15 years experience in teaching, learning and research in a tertiary educational environment. He has keen interest in empowering students through education and research. He is currently the Executive Dean of the School of Engineering Sciences and Technology at Chinhoyi University of Technology, Zimbabwe; a position he assumed as from July 2021.
Prior to this, he served as the Deputy Dean of the School and chairperson of the Department of Fuels and Energy; in these roles, he was involved in the management and implementation of University policies and procedures. He was also involved in spearheading the review and development of the new regulations for the Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Fuels and Energy degree in line with the new ZIMCHE qualification framework and currently is involved in the development of the MSc in Sustainable Energy degree regulations. His main areas of research are in combustion engineering, waste-to-energy process engineering and solar energy engineering.
I have had more than 15 years experience in teaching, learning and research in a tertiary educational environment in Zimbabwe. I have been lecturing undergraduate engineering students studying towards the Fuels and Energy Engineering degree programme. I have also lectured the module on Energy Management to MSc students in Engineering Project Management at Chinhoyi University; I am also engaged as a part-time lecturer in the MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering at the University of Zimbabwe.
I have supervised more than 30 MSc and MPhil student research projects.
