Dwayne Pereira

I am a student pursuing MSc in Human Resource Management (CIPD Accredited) at Loughborough Business School. I am enthusiastic about HR and am very much invested in it.

I consider myself as a people's person and quite approachable. I am good at risk calculating and making best decisions promptly. My problem solving abilities really sets me apart.

I do have and tend to develop my knowledge and skills in terms go HR and Employment Relations. I am well versed with the employment laws here in the UK and I am sure that by the end of my degree I will get even better.

I am looking to secure a rewarding job in Human Resource Management and showcase my skills and establish such a workplace where employees look forward to work at.

I do not have much experience but I have done internships for 4 months in total.

I did have a lot to learn and did it at well repotted companies:

1. Taj Hotels 

• It's a fiver star hotel and being in the HR team of it we had to keep employees happy. 
• Keeping in mind most of our employees are facing and greeting loads of customers daily. 
• Maintaining morale was a task but something that was managed well and I find myself quite fortunate to assist and learn from one the best HR Teams on how to do that. 

2. Mercedes Benz

• Here, my task was overall everything as I was shadowing the HR Manager and I had to perform activities like HR Morale Boosting Events and Games to keep employees engaged. 
• Compensations and Benefits Management along with Payroll services 
• I also overlooked the appraisal scheme and performance management. 
• Assisted employees in registering for the government's schemes so that they can avail its benefits. 
• Recorded live and other training sessions. 
• All of these were done under the online guidance of the HR Manager who was on a leave. 

I have performance sheets and/or letters that can support my statements and validate my excellent performance at these prestigious organisations.

I am currently pursuing MSc in Human Resource Management (CIPD Accredited) at Loughborough University and its estimated to be completed by October 2024.

I also have done my Bachelors in Business Administration where I had modules focused on HR but not specialised.

That is why I decided to widen my skills and knowledge in HRM with an Masters Degree from one of the best universities
