Edward Waldron

I am a Business management graduate from the University of Nottingham, interested in carving out a career path in market research. I have experience using research methods alongside professional experience as a national accounts manager.

Having worked in a number of part-time work pre and post university, my professional experience spans from hopsitality to account managing. I have worked for two firms as an accounts manager, including as a national accounts manager for a software company.

National Accounts Manager- Whocanfixmycar national accounts with front facing client role. Communication with both national clients such as Close Brothers Bank and Euro Car Parts as well as individual garages to support the site. I ran my own project with the Close Brothers account to start a partnership where they exclusively used Who can fix my car.

I led the whole process from hiring specific garages to complete the work on the vehicle, to working collaboratively with the accounts team for payment, and then liaise with the client for any pay discrepancies. I also assisted the web development in automating the system, supplying the user requirements to ensure the system ran smoothly. My responsibilities then diversified such that I worked on multiple different roles at one time, including a similar garage centric role with Heycar and a customer facing one with eBay and Amazon Tyres, where I grew my skills towards customer liaison .

I also oversaw the training and development of a coworker into this functional side of the business, where I grew my leadership and prioritisation ability. During this role I gained experience on data analysing tools such as CRM and Microsoft Excel.
