In my career in the Healthcare, I have gained various experiences in personal care for vulnerable adults and children. Various leadership roles such as chairing planning meetings, preparing the daily planner for the shift, escalating incidents to the appropriate responsible clinician, raising safeguarding to my line manager for the safety of the patients, assisting Nurses with PBS care plans, Good knowledge in Seclusion review and flexible in working in home and hospital settings including Mental, Medium and Low secure wards.
I have good communication skills, very caring, committed, courageous, competent, and compassionate when working in the care setting. I engage service users in therapeutic activities such as Bingo sessions, grounds walk, Music and Art sessions, Gym, etc to make them active on the ward and their homes respectively.
I facilitate various community leaves and home leaves as well as hospital appointments. I am able to assist Nurses with Risk Assessment to review service users’ observation levels.
I have also developed various skills in using IT tools like Microsoft Word document, excel, PowerPoint presentations, typing and others.
I currently have;
*Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care
*Level 3 certificate in Understanding Mental Health

*Medication Administration Training.
