I qualified in social work in 1981. I qualified as an approved social worker (now AMHP) in 1986. I am experienced in Safeguarding Adults, Mental Health, legal issues and practice in working with groups, families and individuals. I am experienced in motivational interviewing, domestic and sexual abuse , financial abuse and hoarding.I am trained in joint interviewing of vulnerable adults alongside police (Achieving Best Evidence), attending MH review tribunals and coroners court. I am a practice educator and assessor. I have lengthy experience of team management, appraisal, individual and group supervision.
