Concert/festival part-time bar staff at Hap Solutions (2025-08 – Present)

• Bar Front:
• Approached customer interactions with a friendly demeanour while ensuring customers were served in a timely manner.
• Learned to quickly navigate card machines and tablet payment software when taking payments, and recording instances when ID was required to confirm a customer’s age.
• Effectively communicated to bar backs when running particularly low on certain drinks and with other colleagues at the bar if either of us were unsure of anything.
• Bar Back:
• Addressed instances of low stock during busy periods by prioritising the restocking of particularly popular drinks across all areas of the bar while addressing requests expressed by colleagues. When quieter, drinks were spread out equally across the bar.
• Mixed drinks to order, including mocktails requiring numerous steps to assemble, at a fast pace, paying close attention to preserving the taste and appearance of prepared drinks.
• Gained experience pouring pints and keeping bar cleanliness to a high standard.
• Sometimes, it became necessary to switch roles mid-shift to maximise service efficiency during rushes, leading to a personal improvement in flexibility and vigilance.
