I currently work (along side my freelance design) part time as a Learning Assistant at my children's school, it has given me flexibility whilst they are young and whilst I have enjoyed being part of the team and working with children, I also miss my time working in a fully creative environment and would very much like to be part of a creative team again. I have been lucky to be able to use my creativity, patience and management skills in this environment and have loved my time in this role.
Designer at Busy B / K TWO Products (2005-05 – 2017-02)
In my previous position at Busy B, I was responsible for generating new ideas for potential products, seeing through the initial concepts, design, artwork, packaging and production of all products from the Busy B and K TWO ranges which consists mainly of books, journals and 3D products sold in such stores as John Lewis, Harrods, House of Frasers, WHSmiths, Lakeland and Waterstones. Being part of a small team means I was responsible for the high quality of design that comes out of the company. I worked closely with the design manager and had a good working relationship with clients and account handlers.
I was responsible for managing a very busy work load, handling a variety of products and meeting tight deadlines. I did on occasion liaise directly with overseas printers and UK customers.

In my position as the sole In-House Graphic Designer for Festival Inns I was responsible for designing a vast range of material from flyers, posters, menus, logos, brochures to advertisements and hotel internal graphics.
