I am a 17 year old student currently working on my A-levels . For the past 18 months I have been working at honey pottery as a shop assistant . I have gained excellent customer service skills by serving at the till , helping to run children’s birthday parties, and keeping my environment neat and tidy .

I have learnt barista skills and how to take orders from customers . Prior to my role at honey pottery I coached girls football where I planned and delivered my own drills to an under 8s team while keeping them motivated and engaged .

I currently work at Honey pottery which has given me many valuable skills

• I have gained experience serving customers and making teas and coffees , so I also know how to use a coffee machine
• I worked behind the till writing out order tickets and calculating costs and payments
• I maintained a tidy work environment in the shop
• I helped in the glazing process making sure every pot was numbered and customers contacted and given the correct pot . This required good attention to detail
• I assisted in leading the children’s pottery and slime party’s directing them through tasks and keeping them engaged and entertained
• I helped in sewing classes , teaching children the basic skills of how to sew safely

Volunteer football coach - Horsforth St Margaret’s

As part of my Dofe silver I volunteered as a football coach for six months to an under 8s girls football team at Horsforth St Margaret’s, where I also play football for an under 18s team . I planned and delivered my own drills to the girls , making sure I communicated clearly with them , and that they understood and listened to me .
